Janet, I had to formally write to you about how please we were with the wedding shower we had for our daughter, Nicole, on May 23rd. During the pandemic, you were always reachable and worked me to reschedule our event several times.
The room set up, the service and the food was perfect! I saw some of our friends get up several times for additional helpings. You made our long-awaited day extra special. I also want to mention Erin’s cake was to die for. I did reach out to her as well.
Again, Thank you for everything. Our wedding shower was truly a perfect event. May next…baby shower!!

Janet was fantastic in ensuring the details were covered. She was of superb support for the on scene handling of logistics. Our wedding was perfect even amidst 3 date changes due to Covid. Truly, after researching 12+ venues, we chose MBH and had a wonderful experience, would recommend the Mansion at Bald Hill for your event.

I was supposed to be married back in March at a venue in Massachusetts. Due to Covid, my year long planning came to a halt days before it was all supposed to come to life. After a lengthy heart breaking ordeal with my other venue, i reached out to the Mansion with what seems like a ridiculous request. “Can you host my wedding, three weeks from today?” Janet reached out with a simple “i think i can help, ill call you tomorrow”. Janet was amazing. She was responsive through the whole process and made the transition seamless. She even spent 20 minutes pinning up my dress when my bustle failed to keep my dress from under my feet. I cannot say enough about how great she and the staff is. The venue is beautiful. The wedding was beautiful. So unbelievably happy.

Words cannot be enough for all the ways we would like to thank you for all your efforts that went into making our wedding day a dream come true. The next day, I kept saying “that was the best wedding I have ever been to!” And it was ours – everything was perfect- our guests truly enjoyed the stunning grounds, the great food and pleasant service. It was the first wedding for both of our families. We know it was stressful at times but we can’t thank you enough for your honesty, patience, support and kind words. We will be back for dinner in the near future. Best of luck to you all and thank you again.

Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding! The service was awesome, especially since we were planning on sending someone inside to grab drinks while we were doing pictures. And then we didn’t have to because drinks and appetizers came outside to us! We also want to thank the staff for helping my mom collect the pinecones and other decorations from the tables when the night was winding down!
Everyone raved about the grounds and how lovely the venue was! We (obviously) have never been married before and we benefitted from having you around and guiding us through the process and working with our vendors during the service. I had to reach out and let you know again what a fantastic experience Andrew and Vanessa’s wedding was this past weekend Your attention to every detail really made it a seamless event. Living in the business, I can say that I never really stop working – but after a few brief moments when I realized that we were in very capable hands – I had an amazing time.

We had our wedding at the mansion on July 22nd and people are still raving about it. It is a beautiful venue in a quintessential New England town, the gardens were a perfect backdrop for our ceremony while the patio and banquet hall was a great setting for the party to follow! Guests are in awe that we found such a gorgeous hidden gem. The staff was all super sweet and really helped to cater to our every need, the food was delicious and the atmosphere helped make a great evening. Janet worked hard all along to answer questions and keep things on the right track, making the wedding go perfectly. Honestly, with all the different moving parts of a wedding, we did not have one hiccup once the ceremony started throughout the entire night. Thank you Mansion at Bald Hill, we will be coming back as often as we can for Sunday brunch and to reminisce about our wedding day!

I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed having our reception at the Mansion at Bald Hill. Janet was great to work with, she was very organized and helped us plan out every aspect of the reception from the napkin colors to the play-by-play timeline. She was very flexible during the planning process- meeting in person multiple times and answering questions via email. The quality of the food at the reception was as good as the plates in their restaurant. We got many compliments on the dinner, especially the prime rib. We also had a rehearsal dinner here the night before and our bridal party stayed at the mansion. Mrs Bowen’s Room was a great location for getting ready photos.

I want to thank you again so much for everything. I’ve been hearing so many compliments at how perfect our wedding was and how amazing the staff was.
I’ve also heard that the food was the best anyone has ever had at a wedding and that the food was actually hot! Whereas some places people have said their meal isn’t hot at weddings. Every single person LOVED the meal and the venue.

Janet, You are such a hard worker and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I hope you take sometime for yourself this year and go vacation. You deserve it.

When planning a corporate meeting it is important to have high expectations of the hosting venue. The Mansion at Bald Hill exceeded all expectations I had for being a partner in planning our corporate function. The response time was exceptional to obtain information on the venue, the support in finding an answer to any question was great, and planning the evening was stress free.
Even outside of a corporate function, I highly suggest this venue for a first class dining experience. We had 21 people in our party, the menu choices were extensive, and every meal arrived at the same time, the appropriate temperature, and cooked perfectly.
Every member of the team at the Mansion at Bald Hill was friendly and service oriented. They were attentive and made us all feel extremely welcomed in what felt like their “home”.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Mansions at Bald Hill on 9/24/16. It was everything we would have dreamed it would be. Janet at the Mansions was so flexible and made sure that every little detail was exactly how we wanted it to be. We first went to visit the Mansion based on a recommendation from a friend. Janet was quick to respond, and she setup a tour for us the next day. Janet was great to work with. The Mansion at Bald Hill is the perfect venue if you want to enjoy yourself you want your guests to have A GREAT TIME. They have a gorgeous fire pit, beautiful grounds, awesome food, friendly staff and an awesome Victorian-styled bed and breakfast to relax in. My husband and I stayed in two different rooms the night before the wedding- him in Mr. Bowen and myself in the Mrs.Bowen room- and it was just an amazing experience. We, of course, stayed in the beautiful Mrs. Bowen the night of the wedding. So comfortable and elegant. The new ballroom is so really elegant inside and the outside grounds are so fun and relaxing. All of your guests just absolutely loved the venue. Janet, the events coordinator was amazingly on her game and was totally and completely helpful and creative.
